-B VITAMINS: Anything Cultured!: Water kefir, kombucha, sauerkraut, etc.
-HORMONE helping herbs (a main cause to nausea is the massive hormone shift): Red Raspberry Leaf, False Unicorn, Squaw Vine, etc.
-STABLE BLOOD SUGAR: Cannot stress this enough…Eat high protein meals, and eat often.
-Ginger: chews, mints, essential oil, stevia soda, etc.–whatever works for you!
-Mint: peppermint, wintergreen
-Sour: preggie pops/drops, lemon water, etc.
-IRON/BLOOD: Chlorophyll (strengthens blood stream to hold on to iron better and is also a plant blood transfusion): Natures Way makes a concentrated version that saves some $!
-OMEGA 3: Fermented Cod Liver Oil and Ovega 3 (algae oil).
-PRENATAL: Vitalherbs, or RAW whole food based prenatal.
-B VITAMINS (Folic Acid, B12, etc.): Cultured food/drinks -water kefir is my go-to.
-PROBIOTICS: it’s good to get a variety-soil based, high potency, etc. to keep immunity and energy high. (if you are eating lots of fermented foods, then it is not as necessary to take a probiotic in capsule form, though I would still recommend it.)
-GREENS: green smoothie (my version: water, ice, low sugar fruit, greens, green powder/+chlorophyll, protein powder/hemp seeds, chia seeds/fiber, lemon EO <helps combat strong flavors)
-MINERALS: The best I found are either a nano liquid (can be pricey), or tea: nettle!, horsetail, oatstraw, etc. Unsulphured Blackstrap Molasses is also a mineral powerhouse.
-HORMONE balancers and female organ boosters: Red raspberry leaf & wheat germ oil
Here is what I would do:
.Make my Red Raspberry/Nettle tea in a 2 qt size jar & let steep (I used a coffee filter as a tea bag and stapled it shut). <a couple drops of vanilla stevia does wonders for flavor.
.Make & drink my green smoothie
.Exercise (light weights, sciatica work, run 2ish miles, stretch-lots of cat/cow OR yoga!) while listening to my daily affirmations.
.Apply essential oils (I muscle tested for specific oils and amounts) and stretch mark oil on belly (rotate between coconut oil, olive oil & wheat germ oil)
.Take supplements with tea
.Sun bath! (Sadly didn’t happen every day, but at least 2x weekly)
.Enjoy the day and touch/talk to baby often
.Eat wholesome diet–God’s food! (I ate meat when I craved it during my first trimester, as I believe my body needed it to sustain me during that hard time<This is where everyone is different!)
THIS IS THE SUPPLEMENTAL REGIME I IMPLEMENTED AFTER MUCH STUDY, WORKING WITH MANY WOMEN, AND REAL LIFE PRACTICE.
I BELIEVE THIS IS TRULY THE BEST WAY TO STRENGTHEN AND NOURISH YOUR BODY DURING PREGNANCY (AND AFTER!).
